Overview

Reimer's Ranch has a combination of loops that serves a range of different skill levels from beginner and intermediate to advanced and expert.

The trail surface is mostly sandy singletrack with intermittent sections of limestone slabs near the back of the park. The trails run through a wide range of terrain including grassland, oaks, cedars, rocks, arroyos and cactus.

Need to Know

Plenty of cactus and mesquite abound so keep to the trail and be sure to pack a spare tube.

Description

Reimer's offers the ability to pick and choose the loop you want to ride right from the trailhead. The loops intersect often throughout the ranch, so you can change up the pace by picking a new loop at your own whim.

The route here starts with the Beginner trail, a meandering route with a few ups and downs. From there, you'll tackle the Advanced West and Advanced East loops. Each of these trails have several runs with small jumps.

From the Advanced East trail, you'll continue onto the Intermediate trail, pedaling up a winding climb up to the highest point of the ride. An awesome descent follows with of opportunities to catch air as you head out to the northern reaches of the trail system.

The last part of the ride is fun and mellow singletrack over mostly sandy terrain. Overall, you'll get a lot of variety packed into this nice trail system.

History & Background

This area is also a popular climbing spot with a number of sport climbs that vary in difficulty.
