Description

This is a very steep, paved road to the summit of Cuyamaca Peak. Riders may be forced to zig-zag, crawl, or push to make it to the top. The climb starts steep and eventually levels out within a half-mile of the top so a rider can get the first view of the other side of the mountain. There is a bench just off the road, the view is great, and the breeze will feel amazing.

After catching ones breath, riders will continue the climb to the very top—the last bit is exceptionally steep and the pavement is replaced by gravel, which makes it even tougher. The climb is rewarded by a splendid all-around view on clear days.
