Description

Though not as beautiful as Marshall Canyon on the other side of the hill, this fire road is a good way to fill-out a short Marshall ride. There's very little shade over here, so water yourself appropriately.

From the top of Cobal Canyon - La Verne, starting from the low swinging gate, go left and uphill. After you begin to descend, stay right at the first split. When you get near the bottom, swing right onto Johnson Pasture Rd to go uphill and back to Marshall Canyon.

There is A TON of foot traffic on the weekends. Please make sure to communicate with the hikers who don't see you coming.
