“A 9.5 mile ride Surrounding Puddingstone Reservoir.”
— George Zankich
Surrounding Puddingstone Reservoir in Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, the 9.5 mile Bonelli Trail offers a great variety of terrain and settings. Users can ride the trail in the surrounding foothills to get exceptional views, take a relatively easy ride at lake level, or do the entire trail as a loop. You can find some singletrack, good climbs and wide open decents
Need to Know
There's a creek crossing on the backside between Rocky Trail
and North Shore Trail
. It is managed well, rarely deep and usually easily crossed.
Although the ride doesn't offer a great deal of technical trails, you'll get a workout with the rolling hills and occasional steep climb. If you want technical sections you can find some. The most difficult portion of the trails are the climbs, so a nice hardtail would do great out there. There are a lot of trails to choose from, so it could keep you occupied for a while if you were up to it.
