Description

The beginning of Peppertree is little bumpy after leaving Toyon Trail, but it widens and gets smoother as you make your way around the bend. You can really gather speed here if no one is around, but beware of hikers and rangers.

On your right, you'll see an option leading to two other trails. Pass that option, staying to the left on Peppertree Trail so you can take the fun singletrack option coming up. Watch for it on the left side. The singletrack runs just next to the fire road on the embankment before reconnecting you at the lowest point.

Continue on the fire road, which will now be heading uphill, to reach Klondike Canyon Trail or Palos Verdes Dr S.
