Description

This trail was built in conjunction with the Creek Turnpike and follows the terrain.

Beginning at the Riverparks East Bank Trail just south of the Jenks Pedestrian Bridge, the trail climbs steeply to an at-grade crossing at S. Harvard Avenue. There are separate paths for climbing and descending at the steepest segment.

Crossing to the south side of the turnpike, the trail crosses S. Yale Avenue at-grade then moves back to the north side via an underpass at Fry Ditch Creek. At S. Sheridan Road the trails moves back to the south side with at-grade crossings. After an at-grade crossing of S. Mingo Road, the trail passes the southern end of the Mingo Creek Trail South, making one more at-grade crossing before ending at S. Garnett Road. The Liberty Parkway Trail begins at this point.

This shaded and hilly south Tulsa trail is a great leg workout. Since it runs east-west with tall trees on one side and a tall turnpike wall on the other, it's a wind break on windy days.
