Description

Head to the top of the South Lake Trailhead, passing around a gate to the northeast. The trail climbs momentarily with some technical bits that will give you an idea of what's ahead.

From there, it descends with lots of drops, awkwardly spaced stairs, and technical rock sections. You'll pass by the Green Lake Trail and, eventually, come out at Parcher's Resort.

Please be aware of hikers and especially horseback riders on this trail. Parcher's Resort guides horseback rides on this trail in the summer. Encounters with them have been friendly so far, but please keep it that way, to keep this trail open.
