Family Friendly Gentle grades and a fun route make this a perfect trail for kids or those new to the sport.

Description

While still designed for novices, this trail is the next step up from the Galena View Loop. With slightly steeper grades and a route through thicker forest, it requires a little more skill. It’s overall length is also something for novices to consider.

All that being said, this trail is also a lot more fun. A twisty ride through the trees with some ups and downs is what mountain biking is all about here.

The loop can be ridden in either direction however a clockwise route seemed to have better flow. Pay close attention to the signage near the intersection of this trail and the Pioneer Cemetery Loop as it can be a little confusing.

This intersection is easy to blow through. The Spring Cr Trail is a hard left here; the Senate Meadows loop is straight ahead

Even the novice trails here have banked corners. You know, just in case...

Fun trail with the kids! Started here as a warm-up, returned to lodge for water then followed with Gladiator Loop/Outhouse Loop.
