Description

This road connects the Highland Ridge Trail with the Volvon Loop Trail in the direction shown. The trail follows a shady creek channel in the first southernmost section then turns north to start a steady climb up the grassy ridge with just a few oak trees for shade. The road is steep in some spots and if you're descending from the Volvon Loop Trail, beware of the cattle gates on the way down.
