Description

This trail provides access to HWY 404. It's the only trail that provides an exit to the North side of this trail system.

The trail goes down along an arroyo, then heads south and crosses the New Mexico/Texas border before climbing to intersect Northern Pass. There are some nice bedrock sections along the trail.

There is a BLM gate on 404. Be sure to keep this closed. Both parking spots are suitable for car or RV type camping. The second parking spot is hidden from view of 404.
