Closed Dec. 1st - April 15th One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Description

This is a nice 2025 addition to the Hogback trail network, accessed from Washed Up. It parallels the same wash up into the canyon, which you'll finally cross at the far end of the trail. Most of the trail seems to have been hand cut, so the tread is narrow as is the meandering path through the scrubby Pinyon trees - watch your fingers, shoulders, and head as you're weaving between the trees and leaning into the turns. There is good shade even in the middle of the day from all the Pinyons. The trail also features a number of natural rock obstacles to go over or around. At the end, you'll dump onto the lower end of Watchtower.
