Overview
The Dirty Dozen isn't just a name — it's a challenge. Covering 20 miles and over 3,000 feet of climbing, this mountain bike race in New Castle, Colorado, throws down a full-body test of endurance, skill, and grit on the Colorow Trail System.
Racers will tackle steep climbs, fast descents, and of course, the infamous "Dirty Dozen" switchback segment — a punishing series of twelve tight turns on the
Stairway to Heaven trail, known for shredding legs and testing resolve.
This isn't your average XC loop — it's a rugged, raw ride through some of western Colorado's most scenic and challenging terrain. Whether you're chasing the podium or just out to prove something to yourself, this race delivers.
