Description

The Mendoza Trail starts off with some mellow climbs on very comfortable trail. After you pass the Mummy Mountain Trail (which is for hikers only), about 0.3 miles in, the trail gets very steep on a wide, but rocky trail. The whole climb is challenging due to the rocky path, but it isn't too far to the top. The trail down has less rocks and you can see far enough in front of you to get some real speed.

Mostly I use this trail to extend my rides from the campground, starting south on Coyote Ridge Trail then looping back on this trail until I hit the Coyote Ridge Trail again heading north.
