Part of the best way into Briones from Lafayette BART (in other words auto free), and a nice roll in its own right.

Description

Mostly a ridge top roll with a couple of steeps; when combined with the western segment of the Mariposa Trail, it provides the best way into Briones from Lafayette BART and a more fun way out for most than the drop on the eastern Mariposa Trail segment.

The western end of the trail connects to a paved road. Not clear if it is private, and if so, if it is always passable. In any case, this paved road is unlikely to be on anyone's desired line unless they live on that road or nearby.
