Description

Access to this spur road is from Peavine Sheeds Creek Road - FS 221. There is a derelict (restrooms closed) campground at the start of this spur road but the campsites are still in reasonable shape.

This is somewhat rough (and wet in spots) dirt road that runs literally down into the Ocoee Lake #3. There are some swimming holes along this section.

The Tanasi Trails are right across the lake, but you'll have to take Peavine Sheeds Creek Road - FS 221 another 10 miles or so to get to the intersection with Chestnut Mountain Loop.
