Description

This somewhat sandy trail is a great way to get a ride in without driving to SLO or SB. The trails here can be ridden either direction. If you are following this path as mapped be sure to take the MTB Project mobile app with you because it's a maze of trails out there and it's easy to take a wrong turn!

There are a couple of climbs (but nothing too steep) and therefore a couple descents (watch out for sand traps on the way down). Because it's a bit sandy, this is a great place to go when everything else is wet.

From the main parking area, head out on the trail directly east. Once you reach the main, north-south split, turn right to follow the southern section of trail first. It follows some wide sandy singletrack. As you descend, turn right at the intersection and then track another right when the trail splits shortly after. This takes you around the northern loop. When the trail comes back together take a right, followed closely by another right to take the northern side of the loop back. Head back the way you came.
