Description

Las Cruses Adobe starts off below Las Cruses school just off hwy 1 and 101 across the freeway from Gaviota peak. The trail is fire/doubletrack with a singletrack coming from the bottom of trail to the south, and climbing out toward original trailhead. The only real technical part is the singletrack climb. Usually very rutted, and steep. Definitely takes finesse to climb out of. The main climb to the highest point is a workout for sure.. Though their are flat spots to contemplate whats ahead. Very low use. Packs a lot in one short ride. Most go counter clockwise, but if you go the other way, or turn around at the top and go back, their are gnarly jumps for lots of air time if you so desire.
