Description

The Orange Trail is a bi-directional, shared use trail through open forest that is a mix of singletrack and doubletrack. It is undulating to flat with a nice but short gradual descent approaching the doubletrack road.

The trails weren't built with sustainability in mind so some of them will have a rawer feel than some of the other trails in the area and some spots stay wet for a couple of days after rain, depending on the time of year.

While the trails at Jug Bay Natural Area aren't very busy, they are shared-use and there will occasionally be equestrians and hikers so be aware.
