Features -none-

Family Friendly Wide, smooth tread, easier grades (although still a big, long climb), and easy access from Snowmass Village Mall and Base Village via Fanny Hill Trail.

Open to mountain bikes for uphill use only.

Description

This climbing-only trail is wide, smooth, and as easy as it gets... considering you are climbing up the lower slopes of a ski area mountain. Long segments without turns will help younger and newer riders grow their confidence level. Some of the turns are steep, but still wide and easy to negotiate.

The trail meanders across grassy ski run meadows with increasingly bigger views the higher you climb. You'll also encounter forested segments, both beautiful aspen groves and dark evergreen timber.

Use this trail to access the parallel Village Bound, which was recently rerouted to act as a companion descent to this easier climb. Once at the top of Discovery, use Village Bound to access other area trails including the Connector Trail, West Government Trail, and Cross Mountain Trail.
