This route is also known as the "Campground Connector", but is well signed as "Connector" at the top and bottom of the trail. Its many switchbacks wind up/down the Campground area ski slopes, offering great views, open meadow slopes, and mixed aspen/conifer forests harboring columbines and other wildflowers. It connects Ditch Trail at the bottom to Village Bound at the top. West Government Trail is a short distance up the hill from the top intersection.

This trail was re-constructed late summer 2016, and is largely a new trail. You'll no longer have to navigate a jeep road for a couple hundred yards at the midpoint. The ride has some slow turns on the way down, and it's now a nice uphill climb even if there are some steep sections and few tight switchbacks to negotiate.
