Overview

This is an old, steep Jeep trail that makes a fun elevator ride from Highland's Ski Area to Castle Creek Road. The trail starts with a very steep descent from the summer road consisting of loose rocks and water bars. Definitely not a fun place to fall. After the first switchback the trail becomes more manageable, but expect to be on the brakes the whole way down.

Description

Only the lunatics attempt to ride up this one, so it's best to descend it. Access it from the Highland's Ski Area work road. You can reach the start of this work road by driving or riding 1.5 miles from the roundabout on Highway 82 towards the base of Highland's Ski Area located off of Maroon Creek Road.
