A great mix of singletrack and that famous Moab sandstone.

Kody Gibson

Stay on the painted line through the sandstone to protect the soil crust and plant-life ecosystem.
The ride is a moderately difficult loop with mostly singletrack, and long, bumpy sandstone sections down Rockin' A and Circle-O. Hardtails beware.

Start with Lazy/EZ Loop going counter clockwise. EZ winds along the base of a low ridge. It's a short, beginner (fast) section, which runs into a more technical Deadman's Ridge.

Through Deadman's Ridge, you'll encounter some technical sections that will challenge your slow speed balance and pedaling endurance.

There's an option to take a right for the full Deadman's loop, or hit Rockin' A for some Bumpy slickrock action. Be sure to follow the painted line on the rock.

Head Northeast after a few trips around the berm bowl for Circle-O and some more slickrock, and gorgeous views toward Arches National Park. Again, stay on the painted line on the rock.

Pass by the Bar-M Loop and take a right on North 40. You'll have the option to take the full North 40 loop, or take the bypass halfway through. This is a very fun singletrack section that gets more technical, and involves more climbing towards the end. Before you know it, you'll be able to see the trailhead on the right.

Was very easy until hitting Circle O which was all Slick Rick. Some tricky spots with quick tradition from down but all Blue level for the most part.

Went here during rain, everything but north 40 was fine - but expect mud when wet! Circle-o has some great slick rock 25.6mi

Muddy - About 70% is dry, the rest is bad. I would still wait a while before you go so the trail doesn’t get to ruined.

Took my complete beginner wife out here to kill a few hours. We rode the 7 mile 'Bar M' loop first which is essentially a road but provided plenty of great views so it was worth it for what it was. On our way back to the car, we stumbled across EZ which also led us to Lazy. Both were surprisingly nice lil' beginner singletrack trails that were pretty darn fun. I didn't see any out there yesterday but I bet the locals get out there on off days and do some (race speed) laps. Easy area to get to and the nicest, cleanest pit toilets I've ever had the pleasure of using. May 28, 2014
