Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

This trail skirts a vernal pond as you enter the Fort Ord National Monument after Crossing Watkins Gate Road from the Jerry Smith Corridor. As you enter the oaks you'll climb a hill (not too steep), then wind along until you hit Trail 20.

Along the way you'll cross Trail 14, Trail 51 and Trail 74.
