Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

Start from Addington Road and ride along a vernal pond, then through the oaks to another vernal pond as you gradually gain elevation. This trail connects Addington Road to Trail 18 crossing Trail 23, Trail 52 and Trail 55 along the way. Go just a little further after you run into trail 18 to reach Trail 17 and Hennekens Ranch Road.

This trail can be part of a large ride as you head further out into Fort Ord or part of a short, easy ride for beginners.
