Description

Most people use this to connect various other runs (especially on the Zippity Loop or Joe's Ridge), but its really a great trail by itself.

Starting at the upper parking lot, it heads through pleasant small hills and trees until Joe's Ridge departs on the left. The riding gets a bit harder for the next mile - you are up in the hills after all! After passing Zippity Do Da on the left, you'll have a very steep set of swtichbacks down into a wash. Beginners might want to walk this section.

The trail intersects Western Zippity, which is a great descent option back to the lower parking lot.

The last portion of Frontside is not ridden frequently unless tackling the Edge Loop - IMBA Epic. From the intersection with Western Zippity, the trail climbs slightly at first before diving into a steep descent that shoots you across the bottom of the mesa. From there, theres one, kick-in-the-pants climb before rolling out to the road.
