A moderate climb up a scenic ridge.

Nick Wilder

Description

A good way to start the Zippity Loop.

From the south end of the parking lot, head west up and down small hills. They're pretty steep and will get your heart pumping fast, but they're short and over quickly. You'll pass many trail junctions: Kessel Run, MoJoe, and Zippity Do Da all finish here (they're one-way downhill rides). At the Zippity Do Da intersection, head straight (don't take Zippity Cutoff to the left, which just heads down to a road).

The trail now turns mostly north towards the mountains and remains an easy cruise all the way up. You'll ascend a ridge and stay on top most of the time with great views in all directions.
