“This road features great views of the Seiser Alm and surrounding mountains.
”
Starting from the village of Kompatsch, this road is initially paved for the first 3.2 km (2 mi) as it climbs gently up the side of the plateau. The rest of the road is gravel, all the way to the intersection with Tierser Alpjoch #8. Just before you reach the intersection, you'll pass the Mahlknecht Hütte mountain hut.
At the Mahlknecht Hütte, route 7 continues as a singletrack that is not really suitable for bikes a short distance to the picturesque Dialer Kirche (Dial Church). You can reach the church via mountain bike by turning right onto Tierser Alpjoch #8 at the intersection.
