Description

An arduous and continuous 600 m (2000 ft) climb takes you from the Seiser Alm Plateau up to the Tierser Alpjoch (Pass; 2440 m; 8000 ft), which connects to the val Duron valley. This is the highest point in the area that can be reached easily by mountain bike. And, of course, there is a mountain hut (Tierser Alpl Hutte) at the terminus.

Before you reach the Tierser Alpyoch, at the 3 km (1.8 mi) mark, you'll reach the Dialer Kirche (church), which is a beautiful small chapel set in a thicket of woods with the mountains in the background.

The only recommended mountain bike route into the val Duron leaves from the Mahlknechtjoch (Pass; 2168 m; 7113 ft). It's just a short distance past the Dialer Kirche.
