This trail begins at the 4-way intersection with Birchfield Camp Extension and Birchfield Camp Lake Loop and starts with a gradual descent along the backside of Higgins Ridge. The track is mostly overgrown doubletrack and sometimes singletrack following the contour below the ridgeline.
