Malaga Dunes is a great little network of singletrack. As you can imagine from the name, there are some sandy spots, but also some hard packed dirt.

Climb up from Via Tejon or Valmonte Trail, then flow back down your route of choice. There are more options than indicated on the map, and they are all good. It's a small area, so you'll probably either take laps and hit all the different arteries, or combine it with nearby trails.

There are a few dirt jumps varying in size and condition. Some of them need work. There are a few smaller table top jumps that are more beginner friendly, and then there are bigger gap jumps for experts only. The big jump lines are more towards the middle, near the top. You can't miss them if you look around.

The sand makes the landings soft and forgiving. Be careful and scope out the jumps before you hit them. There is also a nice log drop down one of the central paths toward the bottom. If jumping is not your thing, there's still plenty of singletrack to enjoy.
