Description

Provides an alternate route up to Inspiration Point during the wet season when Wildcat Gorge Trail is closed to bikers. The grade is pretty consistent from top to bottom with a few short sections that steepen up. The doubletrack is mostly exposed and can feel hot on a warm day.

During the winter there are a couple of sections that will hold the water and take a little bit longer to dry out. The soil is typical of the East bay and is the clay that we all know and love to hate. There are a couple of benches providing nice overlooks of the valley making up Tilden and Wildcat Canyon.
