This trail continues west and passes through the La Garita Wilderness where bicycles are not allowed. Bicycles should probably use FS #787.1 Cutoff, FS Road #600, State Highway 149 through Creed, and FS #502 to bypass it.

Description

The La Garita Stock Driveway Trail can be used to connect Cave Creek Trail to La Garita Creek Cutoff Trail along the rugged ridge line leading to Boot Mountain. Steep sections are very rocky and might need to be pushed. Lots of great scenery.
