“Schwarzwald (Black Forest) road connects two mountain shelters.
”
This is one of the many forest roads traversing the Schwarzwald (Black Forest). As mapped here, the trail starts at the Lindelhütte (mountain hut) and ends at the Haidenell Hütte. Both of these huts are of the shelter-only variety (i.e. no services), but either makes for a nice rest stop. This forest road travels exclusively through heavy forest near the ridge separating the major rivers Rhein and Murg.
