Parking is available at the North River Pavilion.

This is a one-mile loop located on the Alamosa City Ranch. Access this trail from the Rio Inspire Trail or from the North River Pavilion parking lot. If doing the trail clockwise, the first third of the trail parallels the Rio Grande.

The trail then crosses through a fence gate and into active ranch land. Use appropriate precautions if cows are present on the land. Continue on singletrack until reaching the north end of the loop. Follow the brown carsonite signs and head back towards the North River Pavilion access road doubletrack. Take the trail between the two ditches.
