Description

This is the "main" paved road from Selva di val Gardena (Wolkenstein) in to the heart of the Seiser Alm, the largest mountain plateau in the Alps. Although the road is open to automobile traffic, the traffic is light and the route is useful for accessing the numerous gravel and dirt roads in the plateau if you are a purist and don't want to take the lift up from Ortisei.
