Need to Know

Where East Garden Gulch Trail and Howe Ditch Trail intersect, there is a large rock known as Teacher Rock. The rock is off the trail, but it is a landmark in the Weaver Basin Trail System.

Description

Beginning at Taylor Street, East Garden Gulch Trail starts with some climbing. Once you make it to Ten Cent Gulch Trail, the climbing levels off for a bit only to return as you make your way up to Howe Ditch Trail. This section up to Howe Ditch is better ridden downhill, but you'll find traffic goes in both directions. Keep on taking it all the way up to West Garden Gulch Trail where you get to enjoy the fruit of your labor.
