Need to Know

There is a creek crossing at the northern end.

Description

The trail starts with a mild climb up Garden Gulch. It's all singletrack, mostly smooth, and hard packed, with a few ups and downs, as it traverses the Gold Rush era hydraulic mining tailings.

Once the trail crosses Garden Gulch (seasonal, as far as I know), it begins a punchy climb then works its way back to the Howe Ditch Trail and Marker 14. Add this to the Weaverville Basin - Jackass Ridge Downhill featured ride and you'll have a blast!
