Overview

This is a quick loop of OHV trails north of Big Bear Lake. The route has some steep ups and downs as well as some fun rollers and berms. The route is also very scenic, traveling through a unique mix of Joshua trees and pine forest.

Description

This Cactus Flats loop starts from an OHV area on Joshua Loop. Enjoy frequent rollers and berms through both open meadows and a mix of pine forest and Joshua trees. Continue straight at the intersection with Pinion and ride to Vista. Turn left and follow this undulating trail as it heads gradually downhill. There are a couple of steep and punchy sections, as well as some challenging sections with loose rocks. At the bottom, stay left and ride up Pinion. The route trends uphill and is similar to Vista, but not as steep. At the intersection with Joshua Loop, turn right to whoop it up back to the beginning of the ride.
