Description

Eleven Mile Canyon Road (County Rd 96) is a beautiful forest road along the South Platte River through scenic Eleven Mile Canyon. This nine-mile road can be shuttled or ridden as an out-and-back (18+ miles). Parking is available at the entrance, but past this an entrance fee is required.

The road gently climbs 500 feet over nine miles, along the old Colorado Midland Railroad path. The canyon is quiet with peaceful views of the river. It is a popular destination for fly fishing as well. Many picnic spots and campgrounds are available for reservations year round.
