Description

This trail makes for a nice, leisurely grind through the desert. There are lots of rocks and bumps and several objects I had to carry the bike over. It's a lot of fun, though.

I have never seen another rider on this track. Park entrance fee is $6, at a self-pay station on the way in. There is also a connector trail to get to the main park from here.

The junior trail is great for new riders, or younger riders getting in some practice.

4 miles in. Hit some sandy areas that slow you down but the rewarding technical parts starts soon.

Not much shade, but the surrounding are pretty dramatic.

Blocked off by Phoenix raceway most of the time. Enter at your own risk. Other than that, a fun challenge for anyone looking for a challenge. 10mi — 1h 19m

Flat sandy and rocky segments and a few steep drops and climbs. Technical at times. Behind ISM Raceway but quickly feels remote. Didn't see a soul. 9.7mi

This has got to be the worst example of a competitive track in the entire Maricopa County system. In short, it’s a bridle path plain and simple.

Great ride! Many thorns though so take some extra tubes.
