A short, fast, roller-coaster ride if you ride it from the top, which is how it should be ridden.

Description

It's not that long but if you ride it from the top, it's really fast. This is a relatively smooth trail that gains speed fast. Strava shows sections that have a negative grade in the high teens. This spells fun.

Just as things get fast, you are faced with a sharp hairpin followed by a fast, righthand bend. At the bottom, you must go through a little squiggle then a big root crossing from a tree that tightly crowds the trail.

At this point, you can continue into the really easy bottom section and exit the system or do what most people do and turn onto Big Red and continue riding. I try to work this fun descent into my rides at the Biology Trails at White Oak Mountain.
