Family Friendly Wide road makes for plenty of room for bikers and hikers.

As of 11/26/15, Coyote Brush Road - which intersects with Line Shack - is closed due to residential development. Line Shack is open though.

Description

Line Shack doesn't have the thrill of the Serrano Road / Serrano Cow Trail below it, but it will give your legs an extra credit workout, especially if you've already climbed to Four Corners.

The northern section of the trail nearest to Serrano Cow Trail appears to be loose, dark soil dirt, not the typical dusty sandy dirt you see southern section of the trail, or adjacent trails.

The northern section has a short, steep climb/descent. There's a worthwhile view at the peak of this short trail. It's not as high as Four Corners or Dreaded Hill but if you don't have the time or the energy, it's a scenic alternative.

Views are in abundance from the highest point on Line Shack. Looking back towards coastal OC.

Not much more than a rutted fire road with a huge hole on the trail
