The Outer Loop South is part of the Fun Loops at the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. It's a smooth trail that features short climbs and a stream crossing.

I recommend riding this trail as part of a large loop that begins with Outer Loop North (or Inside Line) and takes you around to Trail #6, leading to the upper Elm Ridge trail system. At the end of your ride, you'll be able to descend the final section of Outer Loop South.

Alternatively, you can skip most of the Fun Loops by taking a right at the entrance to the trail system and following Outer Loop South directly to Trail #6.

Two short connector trails on Outer Loop South allow you to hop over to Inside Line.
