Description

Canal trail is an easy and mostly straight trail that runs parallel to the Cal-Sag Channel. It runs from the Saganashkee parking lot on 104th Avenue on the east to the far end of XX Extension on the west. Access points in the middle of Canal are Fisherman's Trail and XX/Canal Access from 104th Ave. The middle of Canal crosses with XX and also shares a short section of trail.

Westbound on Canal at the first 4-way intersection with XX, go left onto a shared section of XX and Canal. Go left at the next intersection to get back onto the Canal trail. Go straight at the next two intersections and if the trail remains flat you have successfully stayed on Canal. If the trail is rugged with a lot of ups and downs, then you have found yourself on XX.

Eastbound on Canal as it begins to cross XX, head straight at the first two intersections. At the third intersection, take the right leg onto a section shared by XX and Canal. At the next intersection, take the right leg again to stay on Canal. If the trail turns super rocky with a sharp climb up a hill then you have found your way to XX.
