Description

The Nature Trail is a great little loop from the campground. It's mostly smooth and easy twisty singletrack, there is one intermediate drop which can be bypassed on the right. Not long afterwards is an uphill rock slot. Gear down and try to get your bars through. Soon, the first nature trail intersects an old, now grassy road. Take a right, and look for the 2nd nature trail about a 100 yds up and on your right.

This trail will take you back to the campground. Watch out for a couple of muddy, rocky, small bridge approaches that are deeper and a bit harder than they look. When back at the campground, consider McCollum Trail which starts up a dirt ramp behind the campground office. We often follow Scott's Run from the outer parking area with the Nature Trails and then McCollum Trail for a south of the park road Coopers half loop.
