From behind the campground office, a grass and dirt ramp starts McCollum Trail. After a moderate climb, the trail winds and then descends to a crossing of Raven Rock Trail and continues on to the power line right of way. Forward will quickly take you to a rock and gravel doubletrack and back to the park road. Roadside Trail can be found across the road.

To stay on McCollum Trail at the powerlines, take a hard switchback up and right and ride pleasant singletrack back to the park road at the start of Raven Rock Trail. Roadside Trail is across the road. Good in both directions.
