Description

Crown Point Road is a flat, easy peddle bisecting the two, low ridges that comprise the Frisco Peninsula. Singletracks traverse and meander each of these ridges, and Crown Point Road provides an intermediate link between the trail on either side.

The trail begins on Recreation Way north of the intersection with Highway 9 on the east side of the road. It is the first dirt road intersection. Ride past an "authorized access" road on the left to a water tank, and after 1/3 of a mile ride around a gate.

There are numerous marked and unmarked trail intersections on both the right and left side of the road with access to Jody's Loop, Buzzsaw, Buzzsaw Loop, Crossover, Rocky's Way, Crown Point-Lakeshore Connector, Olympian's Link and Riechl's Retreat as it climbs to a high point after a mile then descends to the end of the Peninsula at a large turn around.
