Description

This machine built trail wonders down through the forest that is slowly reclaiming one of the largest quarries in Knoxville. In the summer the quarry is alive with swimmers of all ages. Easy to connect to the Knoxville Urban Wilderness Trails with a short road section!

From the main entrance ride through the gates and go to the left towards the power line cut. The trail starts on the right side and goes around many piles of rock. All the trail surface is very easy. A hard switch back to the left pops the trail out into the power cut again. Here, bear right down the power cut and follow the trail to the right, back into the woods. At the bottom the trail intersects a graveled green way. Right goes to another parking lot and left goes towards the quarry swimming entrance.
