May encounter OHVs, hikers, and horseback riders as all share this section of trail

Description

This section of the 27 Mile Marathon Trail connects the non-motorized trails north of Highway 143 and south of Highway 14 (to Navajo Lake). While it is an OHV trail also, it is signed as the Marathon Trail and is one of few ways to connect between the two highways across the plateau. Features great views of Hancock Peak and moves through thick forest often providing shade. The doubletrack can be dusty or muddy depending on conditions.
