Description

Known locally as 'Rail' - this is a short but entertaining connector trail between Gilson Gap Trail and Pipeline Trail - allowing you to access the fun and flowing lower half of Pipeline Trail without having to hack all the way to the summit of Ollason Peak.

The trail starts with a short uphill from the main Gilson Gap Trail, before heading over the ridge on a narrow singletrack trail which then traverses the west side of the Pipeline canyon, and ultimately joins Pipeline Trail just before the series of wooden bridges on the lower half of that trail.

The trail itself is well maintained with little elevation change - however it is narrow (with some exposure) in places.
